Mounts are creatures and vehicles players can use to move at faster speeds. Mounts that have the ability to fly can also swim, once swimming and diving has been unlocked in 'Stormblood. Mounts can be viewed in the Mount Guide, which is accessible from the Character menu.
Mounting[ | ]
Mounts can be mounted by using the Mount Roulette, Flying Mount Roulette, or by calling a specific mount in the Mount Guide.
Dismounting[ | ]
To dismount a mount, click on the dismount button, right click the Chocobo icon in the status effects bar, or click on the any of the Mount actions.

All flying mounts are also ground mounts. The Company Chocobo can learn to fly through the quest I Believe I Can Fly obtained in Ishgard.
